Seiko Prospex SSC819 Speedtimer Solar Chronograph / $675
In 1964, Seiko introduced its first precision chronographs for international sporting competitions. The Seiko Prospex SSC819 Speedtimer Solar Chronograph is inspired by that design. It sports a 39 mm stainless steel case and matching bracelet. A black tachymeter bezel surrounds a black dial with sand-blasted texture with tonal subdials while contrasting hands and markers are filled with beige LumiBrite. The watch is powered by a Caliber V192 movement and is solar-powered, offering a six-month power reserve once fully charged.
